Mediterranean Ricotta is a semi-sweet, fresh, snow-white cheese made from sheep's and goat's milk (70% sheep's, 30% goat's milk). Ricotta is more creamy, unlike feta, because cream is added during the formation of the cheese mass. Therefore, the fat content is 36-38%. Also, compared to feta, it is not so salty, the salt content is 0.8%. The cheese has the shape of a cylinder with irregularities and a soft consistency with grain.
