Description
Malaran is an annual plant that belongs to the genus Oregano of the family of Clear-cut flowers and is a spice. It can be added to any dishes to add flavor.
The Greeks have known about this plant since ancient times. It had magical properties. To store marjoram in a vessel for seasonings, it was placed in a zhertovnik (a place intended for sacrificial rites) and set on fire. The Greeks added marjoram to the wine, which guaranteed the extraordinary power of falling in love.
In order to improve the preservation of color and aroma, marjoram grass should be stored in an airtight package, because the aroma is lost during drying or storage. The sweet aroma of marjoram is very subtle and delicate, so it must be added right before serving.
