Jerky Tuna is made from fillets of the Pacific Bluefin Tuna (Thunnus orientalis), a highly mobile group of marine fish of the Scombridae family. Due to the high mobility of Tuna, different sections of the fillet from head to tail have different colors of muscle tissue - from pale pink to dark red. Therefore, when looking at this product and its name - Black Tuna Jerky, it becomes clear that Black Tuna Jerky is made from the tail, its most movable part. “Jerky” Black retained the natural color of the fillet – dark burgundy, closer to brown. The product is natural, not compressed - these are whole pieces of fillet, cut into thin strips, slices, pieces. Tuna fillet contains a large amount of useful vitamins: Calcium, Iron, Magnesium and Zinc, which are important for the normal functioning of the human immune system. And thanks to the high concentration of iodine, this fish is useful for reduced thyroid function. Tuna fillet is rich in vitamins A and E, therefore it is considered an effective antioxidant, and it is also a good source of B vitamins.
