Description
Black large-leaf Indian tea Assam. It has a classic tart taste and a bright floral aroma with honey notes.
Region of origin: India.
TGFOP tea (Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe) is a variety of tea with a high content of tea tips. In dry form, large-leaved Assam tea is a fragrant brew of dark brown color with rare inclusions of orange buds. The brewed tea has a tart, slightly bitter and unusually rich taste with a fruity sourness.
Assam tea grows in the northeast of India, in the valley of the Brahmaputra River, between Shillong and the Eastern Himalayas. Tea is collected twice a year, in which the main volume of tea is collected in the second, later, collection, since it is considered the best in quality.
This tea is perfectly combined with milk, sugar and lemon, but to get the true pleasure of the famous "Assamese" aftertaste, we recommend drinking this tea without any additives.
Brewing recommendation: pour a teaspoon of 150-200 ml of hot water and let it brew for 3-5 minutes.
