Description
Black large-leaf Indian tea Assam. It has a unique aroma with light notes of prunes and a refreshing taste.
Region of origin: India.
Assam GFOP (Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe) is a delicate young tea leaves with a small content of golden tips. The dark amber infusion of this luxurious tea has a tart astringent taste, as well as a subtle and invigorating fruity aroma with a barely noticeable sourness.
The birthplace of Indian Assam tea is the northeast of India - the valley of the Brahmaputra River, between Shillong and the Eastern Himalayas. Tea collection takes place there every year: in spring, from March to April, and in summer, from July to September. During a later harvest, the bulk of the tea is collected, as it is considered the best in quality.
Assam tea is perfectly combined with milk, sugar and lemon, but to get the true pleasure of the famous "Assamese" aftertaste, we recommend drinking this tea without any additives.
Brewing recommendation: pour a teaspoon of 150-200 ml of hot water and let it brew for 3-5 minutes.
