This variety "Extra" presents mature red fly agaric with an open cap.
Red fly agaric is not a poisonous mushroom, it has medium toxicity. The lethal dose is more than 2 kg of fresh mushrooms per adult. In addition to a small amount of toxic substances in the fly agaric, there is also a lot of useful for the body. All of them are mainly concentrated in the mushroom cap in the red skin and under it, but there are much fewer of them in the stem. Therefore, hats are used for medicinal purposes.
As a rule, red fly agaric is consumed either entirely or in small pieces. There is an opinion that it is better to swallow the mushroom without chewing, while drinking a small amount of water. Since the hats of the fly agaric can be very different in size, nevertheless, it is considered safe to use up to 4 small hats. If you eat more, fly agaric intoxication may occur.
You can also make a decoction from dried toadstools. To do this, the caps can be crushed, pour boiling water and leave for a few hours until all the crumbs settle to the bottom. Then strain through a sieve and add a little salt to remove the unpleasant taste a little.
