Description
Svan salt is a national Georgian spice with various spices in its composition. In the native language it sounds like სვაიიაააა, otherwise it sounds like Svanuri marili.
The smell is spicy, rich, sharp notes prevail. The taste of “Svan salt” with the original recipe of the trademark “BAHARAT” turned out to be diverse, with a nutty smell and a slightly bitter aftertaste;
And again a bit of history, this time about the origin of the “Svan salt”…
Initially, the spice was invented in the region of the same name in the north-west of Georgia — Svaneti. Experts attribute the appearance of the composition to the inaccessibility of mountain settlements, it was necessary to deliver sodium chloride with painful efforts, deliveries were often interrupted for many months. Therefore, the locals have developed their own recipe for spices, which has become an excellent alternative to the standard product.
