Description
A white substance that is added to the dough so that it becomes lush and porous, and the finished pastry is tender and airy. It has the ability to increase the volume of the dough (and the finished product, respectively) and accelerate the baking process.Baking powder is used in baking: it is added to yeast-free, biscuit, shortbread and pancake batter. This component is used for making cupcakes, muffins, pie bases, pies themselves, pancakes, cheesecakes, cake cakes and pizza dough.
Approximate norm: 15 grams of baking powder per 500-600 gr. flour.
